In our make of the video, Kimberly will be acting as the main performer and the rest of us will be in the orher shots playing the roles if young teenagers. Kimberly will have at least four base tracks, with the use of editing we will be able to combine the base tracks together as well as shots of the extras to make the video.
So in the video what Kimberly will be doing is perhaps walking through a tunnel and while she is walking she'll tracked with the camera. We'll be using full body shots mainly so as well as the artist is seen the sort of atmosphere that we're trying to give off comes across through the shots as well the audience are able to see the background see the lights in the video and understand the concept.
The other actors in the video are supposed to be also walking perhaps through a tunnel or just a street. Our aim is to be portraying young girls and boys walking down the streets of London having fun and we think with our choices of settings costume and location will be able to achieve that. Main props will be items such as sparklers, glow sticks and other objects with which give off light. We chose these rarher than other props simply because we thought it'd match the song title.
So apart from the fact we chose to plan the music video based on the title for the song. What was also another inspiration were previous music videos. Though our song genre is eletro we still searched in other genres and looked at the music videos which we found inspiring. A specific music video I could use as a reference to this would be Bridget Mendler - Ready or Not. The song is in a completely different genre yet the video portrays the same concept as what we're trying to achieve. Another example could be Proffessor Green - Remedy, this music video shares many of the ideas that we've come up with e.g. Base tracks of the main artist, shots of people having fun, being based in the dark and the whole music video giving off an urban feel.
