Planning - Risk Assessment (RISKS, RISKS, RISKS EVERYWHERE!)

Props:
  • Sparklers - We have to be extremely cautious when using sparklers as they are flammable . To minimise risks of being burnt we will use the sparklers responsibly following guide lines and instructions as given by the product.
Locations:
  • Wapping Pier - When filming near the pier we will take precautions and make sure that we stay clear of the water. We will handle the camera with care so that it doesn't fall into the water also.
  • Foot Tunnel - In the foot tunnel there aren't many people around and there is more risk of being robbed. We will keep all equipment attended and within our sight.
  • Bow art nunnery alley way - We will keep all equipment attended at all times so that nothing is stolen or goes missing.
Equipment:
  • Cameras - We have to use the cameras (flip, still and JVC)  with care so that it does not get damaged. We will avoid putting the camera near water and will not leave the camera unattended. We will carry the camera in the camera bag. We will not touch the lens so that it doesn't get damaged.
  • Lighting - We have to be very cautious when using the lighting due to it heating up quickly as well as the battery life being poor.
